MMMMMMMM DINNER!

Well it is Thursday, and let me just say that Thursday is one of my favorite days of the week. It means that tomorrow is Friday, and the weekend is coming soon. There is also good TV on tonight, so that makes me one happy lady. Just made Biscuits and gravy and donut holes. It was delicious, yet now I am in pain from being so full. Thomas, Madden, and I took a nice walk after dinner to work off all that doughy goodness. Madden and I went and got groceries today. The lady that checked us out went super slow because all she could do was talk with Madden. Although I can understand where she is coming from he is super adorable. All in all it was a good day and not much happened. So in that way I say, SUCESS!!

tuesday afternoon (great moody blues song!)

Well I am glad to say I got out of the house today! This nasty cold weather can't keep me cooped up. Madden and I went and had lunch at Moe's with Thomas and then ran to the grocery store. Madden has been so much better in the stores lately. He is looking around and is just all around content. I am glad we are at this stage in his development that he can somewhat entertain himself when we are out. The age of seven months is turning out to be quite intersting. I find myself enjoying him so much more and at the same time I do not think I have ever been more frustrated with him. I do not know if it is just me but I find myself dreading feeding time. It can either go really smooth or really awful. He is so smart and I am sooooo thankful for that but it is almost as if he is trying to test my patience. God bless him, he is hell bent on not budging on things and when he has his mind made up on something, you are not going to change his mind. I just watched a show on a child who had a disease called moya moya. The disease makes the arteries to the brin virtually unusable, causing the baby to have strokes and seizures. It literally is almost like a death sentence for the child. I am very thankful for those types of shows because they really make me thankful for having a healthy, happy child. In the end that is all that really matters.

The secong attempt

Ok, so thank goodness Thomas is home! I was about to have a meltdown since Madden has decided that he is not going to eat his food. There is nothing more frustrating than a baby who does not want to eat, and swats the bottle out of your hands. I realize that I need to take the hint and just stop frustrating myself, it is hard to do as a mom though. So now I am off to get my shower. There is nothing quite as glorious as a shower. It allows me to refresh and get some much needed alone time! Madden is in his swing and watching Jeopardy, guess I should switch it to Spongebob so he gets a little something out of it. He really is a good baby and is so smart, so I promise to write about the good things too. I am very fortunate to have such a little cutie. Well off to the shower I go!

The first attempt

Ok so this is my attempt at blogging if anyone out there is interested in my daily life. I am going to have to cut my first attempt short because my dear baby Madden is whining away. Ah, such is how my day usually goes.
